Domestic Violence Training For The Faith Based Community

This training provides the faith community with tools to assist victims by providing spiritual and emotional support, as well as resources, to help deal with the devastating effects of domestic violence. Ideal for churches and organizations wanting to bring an awareness about the issues of domestic violence to their staff or leadership groups.

Domestic Violence And The Workplace Training

Training and employee awareness are essential to addressing domestic violence in the workplace.


The training will prepare staff to better understand the dynamics of domestic violence, identify possible signs and indicators of victimization, make appropriate referrals to domestic violence service providers, work with professionals to assist identified victims with safety planning, and develop individualized responses in recognition of the physical, social and cultural realities that may affect an individual victim’s situation.


Training will also include information on ways in which domestic violence impacts the workplace, including potential impact on worker productivity and the safety risks to on-site personnel and visitors.

Dating Violence Training For Adults Who Serve Youth

Approximately 1 in 10 high school students has been purposefully hit, slapped or physically hurt by a boyfriend or girlfriend. The ultimate goal is to stop dating violence before it starts. Strategies that promote healthy relationships are vital. During the preteen and teen years, young people are learning skills they need to form positive relationships with others. This is an ideal time to promote healthy relationships and prevent patterns of dating violence that can last into adulthood.   


This training is designed to share the scope and impact of Dating Violence on youth and a practical model designed to teach adults who serve youth specific strategies and techniques to combat teen dating violence.
